Managing Extension

Review Process

Because extensions run on live broadcasts, you cannot test them in the production environment yourself. We use a black-box verification model.

• Submit: When you click Submit for Review, your version is locked.
• Review: QA tests the extension on desktop and mobile to ensure it fits allocated slots and behaves correctly.
• Release: Once approved, you must manually click Release Extension to make it available to Models.

Release action in Developer Console after approval:

Only one released version can be active at a time. Releasing a new version replaces the previous release.

Turning Extension On

Once extension is released, it is available in Broadcast Center under the Extension tab.

Once extension is installed, configured, and turned on, users (both models and viewers) can use extension functionality as designed by the extension developer.
