What Is an Extension?
Extensions are interactive web interfaces that run inside Stripchat and add new engagement mechanics, control elements, and viewer interaction scenarios to a stream.
Slots and Types
The platform has three extension types: Sex Toys, Games & Fun, and Chat Bots. You can find more about each of them below. The selected type affects where the extension interface can appear and what kind of interaction pattern the platform expects it to support.
In short, the extension type determines which Slots can be used to render the interface.

Slots are dedicated areas of the platform where extensions can be embedded. They define not only where the interface appears, but also how viewers and models interact with it, and which mechanics and implementation patterns make sense there.
You can read more about slots and how they relate to extension types in the Slots section.
Extension Types
💖 Sex Toys
Extensions of this type are built around interaction with connected devices during a stream. Their core pattern is real-time control, visible device state, and clear feedback for both the model and viewers.
The device may belong either to the model, in which case one or more viewers control it, or to a viewer, in which case the model controls it.

🎮 Games & Fun
Extensions of this type are usually built around short, easy-to-understand interactive actions. Their main pattern is a clear trigger, a fast response, and an immediately visible result.
This category includes several common interaction scenarios.
Long Scenario
These extensions typically involve:
- longer gameplay scenarios with several rounds or stages;
- scenarios that are usually started by the model;
- becoming the main focus of the stream for a period of time;
- engaging several viewers at once.

Short Scenario
These extensions typically involve:
- quick and simple scenarios such as one-round games or short challenges;
- scenarios started by viewers and designed for a single player;
- delivering an immediate result.

Reactions
Within Games & Fun, reaction-based formats are also worth treating as a separate group.
These extensions typically involve:
- no real gameplay mechanics, only different kinds of visual reactions;
- being triggered by a single viewer;
- delivering an immediate result.

🤖 Chat Bots
Chat Bot extensions focus on automated or semi-automated interaction in chat. Their main pattern is reacting to messages, commands, or events and turning chat into an active part of the overall extension experience.
Common patterns:
- reacting to chat commands;
- automatic messages, hints, or updates;
- triggering actions based on events or threshold conditions;
- connecting chat to the rest of the extension logic.

Example chat bot: "Welcome Bot"
Automatically greets new viewers and shows a short welcome message in chat.
Private and Public Scenarios
Extensions can be designed for private shows only, or for both private and public streams.
Private scenarios are usually built around more personal interaction, such as one-on-one sex toy control, paired games, or games against the model, such as chess or checkers.
Extensions that also work in public streams should remain understandable to the audience, easy to read on stream, and still work correctly in private mode.
Extensions Library
Models choose extensions for their streams in the Extensions Library, which is available both inside the broadcast interface and on the Extension Platform.
For easier discovery, extensions in the library are grouped into the same types discussed above: Sex Toys, Games & Fun, and Chat Bots.

Extensions Library in the model's broadcast interface
This is where models browse and install extensions for their streams.
So the selected type affects not only the available slots and usage scenarios, but also which library category your extension will appear in and how models will discover it.
